This story is an update on me and what is going on at the moment. Last Saturday, my roommates and I were helping our neighbors move into a new apartment. In the process of everything, I received a severe injury that includes a fractured skull, a concussion, and a seizure all at the same time. I had to be flown by helicopter to a hospital to receive medical attention. Because it is a head injury I have no memory of what happened. All I know is that I was unloading my roommates truck and next thing I know, I am in a hospital bed with my parents overlooking me. I was out for about 8 to 9 hours and it has been a very scary event. This was all last weekend and I am doing better at the moment. I still have day long headaches but they are starting to subside now.

The doctors basically told me that I don’t need to be doing anything for a month. That includes driving, riding my motorcycle, working out, etc. I am hoping that I will be good to go in 2 weeks because I feel the need to be at work and doing something productive. I am with my parents at their home right now so that they can take care of me while I am unable to get out and drive. At times I have trouble standing and get dizzy. I also feel so weird not having my iMac with me. My parents asked me if I wanted to bring my computer and I said yes at first then changed my mind thinking that I wouldn’t have the time or ability to work. That was a mistake. Well, I need to go back to lying down for now and rest.
