Well I got my tuner shipped, ordered, and installed. As I stated before, I am buying everything through American Muscle because of their great service, and as part of buying the tuner, I got a free custom tune programmed into the tuner for the exact engine parts that I have installed so far. The purpose behind the tune was to have my Mustang run more efficiently with the original stock parts and to fully utilize the after-market parts I have installed so far.
With everything installed so far, I have noticed about a 2 to 4 MPG increase on the road. I haven’t done an extensive long road trip yet to be able to determine how much extra Im getting out of the gas tank, but that trip will come soon. I know that before I got everything installed, I could get anywhere from 310 to 330 miles on the tank for interstate driving. So I look forward to finding out the true benefit’s of working on my car once I have an opportunity to make that trip.
