Apple has today announced that the release of MacOS X 10.5 Leopard will be delayed until October due to the development of iPhone.

iPhone contains the most sophisticated software ever shipped on a mobile device, and finishing it on time has not come without a price — we had to borrow some key software engineering and QA resources from our Mac OS® X team, and as a result we will not be able to release Leopard at our Worldwide Developers Conference in early June as planned.

So yeah, as the title says, the CS3 Beta of Photoshop came out today from Adobe Labs, and I am liking what I have seen so far just from giving it a test run. I have an Intel iMac, so I was quite excited to have a Universal Binary version of Photoshop.

It runs a hell of lot faster then CS2 running in Rosetta. My only complaint right now is the new logo. Its just too plain and dull for a program like Photoshop. Its just a blue gradient box with the letters “Ps” on the inside. I don’t know if its the final version of it, but it is looking that way right now. Anyways, I’m still looking forward to when the final release of CS3 comes out, which is scheduled for sometime in Spring 2007.
