This story is an update on me and what is going on at the moment. Last Saturday, my roommates and I were helping our neighbors move into a new apartment. In the process of everything, I received a severe injury that includes a fractured skull, a concussion, and a seizure all at the same time. I had to be flown by helicopter to a hospital to receive medical attention. Because it is a head injury I have no memory of what happened. All I know is that I was unloading my roommates truck and next thing I know, I am in a hospital bed with my parents overlooking me. I was out for about 8 to 9 hours and it has been a very scary event. This was all last weekend and I am doing better at the moment. I still have day long headaches but they are starting to subside now.
Mac OS X Leopard
Today I had the opportunity to try out the latest beta of Mac OS X Leopard. My boss had just arrived yesterday from WWDC in San Francisco and he installed the WWDC Leopard build on our G5 in lab. I am happy with the way Leopard is coming along. I find myself wishing I had Stacks in Tiger right now because they truly are useful and helpful. I am extremely happy that Apple made the decision to get rid of the brushed metal interface and made the entire operating system look and feel the same.
Transformers Novelization
I picked up the Transformers Novelization of the movie the other day and read it over the course of a couple of days. I must say that I am very happy with the story and how events take place. The character development, I think is great and a lot of other little details for those who would question the “reality” of the story. This next few sentences might be considered a spoiler to some, so I warned you.

Quicksilver for Windows
If you are a hard core Mac OS X user, chances are you have heard of Quicksilver. Quicksilver is really hard to categorize as far as what kind of application it is, but if it is anything, it’s a glorified application launcher. Its faster then Spotlight in many cases when it comes to searching for an application that you want to launch. Quicksilver, with the use of plug-ins, can also open up folders, search the web, archive files, etc. Quicksilver can practically do anything and its designed so that your hands never have to leave the keyboard.
