Well I am taking a break from working on the engine of my Mustang and decided to start updating the visual side. For the exterior, I added a black-out panel to the trunk. It goes between the two rear taillights and adds a different look then all the rest of the 2005 series Mustangs on the road. Speaking of the taillights, I added a black-trim that sits on the top of the taillights and goes with the grooves and curves of the light’s shape. Lastly for the exterior mods, I removed the emblems on the sides of the car and added new ones. The stock emblems are of the Mustang pony symbol, and I replaced them with a “4.0 High Performance” emblem. That’s it for now for the exterior. The interior will be the next step with a few small additions in mind.
Transformers 2 Trailer
So a new full length Transforms 2 trailer was released today. Ill just say this about it: Optimus Prime + 2 beam swords vs. 3 Decepticons = freaking awesome.
Well I got my tuner shipped, ordered, and installed. As I stated before, I am buying everything through American Muscle because of their great service, and as part of buying the tuner, I got a free custom tune programmed into the tuner for the exact engine parts that I have installed so far. The purpose behind the tune was to have my Mustang run more efficiently with the original stock parts and to fully utilize the after-market parts I have installed so far.
So today I used up my savings and hard earned money and took a big step forward in my life. I bought a house today and it is everything I could have wanted and more. I got a very nice 4/2 with an attached 2 car garage. It is only 5 years old and I am the 4th owner. For the condition it is in to have gone through so many owners is amazing. Next week I have an appointment for the carpet to be replaced because that is something that definitely needs to be taken care of. The carpet is just one step in me making the house my own with my fiancee as we start to build our new home together. This is an exciting time for me and I can’t wait to see what the future brings.
Throttle Body + Spacer
I got the next phase of working on my car complete. I got a new BBK Throttle Body and a Steeda Throttle Body Spacer. The spacer pushes the throttle body out about an inch from the actual engine. There is a swirl design inside the spacer that helps promote airflow by breaking the surface tension of the incoming air. The new throttle body itself helps bring better and increased airflow into the engine for the purpose of adding more horsepower to the engine.
